Organisation of conferences is one of the priorities of the Safecity  project. Crime prevention through environmental design is a complex task and its fundamental prerequisite includes inter-professional cooperation. In the frame of the conference series international and Hungarian lecturers present the applied methods. These events provide opportunity for exchange of experience/knowledge between the experts and for networking and establishing additional contacts. 

The goal of the first occasion of the series- Safecity 1.0 conference-  is to widely promote the principlesfrom various perspectives, which are modifying our environment in a purposeful manner. The conference discusses in two parts the approach and possibilities of crime prevention through environmental design. On the first day participants will have the possibility to obtain information from the presentations of prestigious Hungarian and international experts. The presentations are organised around safe cities, child-friendly cities, university courses and research. On the second day, in the frame of interactive, practice-oriented workshops participants have the possibility to emerge in the professional topics and information provided.
