kA10

10 is a magic number in the life of the Association. kultúrAktív Association was founded in April 2010, namely just about 10 years ago with 10 persons. At that time nobody would imagine that we could go this far and we could reach such results while working with so many inspiring people and organisations. We started to work on the book entitled Pécs gyerekeknek (Pécs for Children), which later on grew into a series of books. By now exactly 10 books were published in the frame of the Tiéd a város! (The City is Yours) book series.

Our membership has grown in the last 10 years, while our activities diversified: we developed games and methods helping children and young adults to explore, understand and shape their environment. We turned into a kind of innovation lab, whereby we are developing the toolbox of built environment education in a creative and interdisciplinary community. We have extended our knowledge; we have done extensive research and we have made our results available  via (more than 10) specialist books and articles.
