In addition to organizing regular activities, camps and walks, and publishing books, we also run architecture-related contests once or twice a year in order to reach even more young people all over the country.
Our first nationwide contest called „TÉR-KÉP”, organized in collaboration with the Budapest Art Hall, aimed to promote the method of scale model building. We asked elementary and high school students to send us the models they created, and exhibited the best works at the Venice Biennale of Architecture in 2012.
For our annual contest called „Budapest, City of Water”we invite youth from Budapest to discover the importance of water in the life of their city. The participants can utilize various creative techniques to complete the tasks, and kultúrAktív supports the imaginative process by organizing location visits, thematic walks, and creative workshops.
