By virtue of the “City is yours” book serial the Association organizes urban walks for children between 9-13 age.
Working together with the NGO Hosszúlépés we offered playful city tours for children to discover hidden spots of the Jewish district in Budapest. We tracked the old lines of the tram 2; visited the residence of Gyula Krúdy, and synagogue in the Rumbach street; entered the kitchen of the Eco-restaurant Kőleves; searched for the similarities between the synagogue and the churches of Theresa district; finally we drew map. The walk was based on the book The Jewish Quarter of Pest for Children.
